Submissive, masochist, slave, bottom

與sub 的一次對話， 令我重新反思這幾個詞語的意思。

A submissive, or sub, is a person that gives up some degree of authority and/or control to aDominant either all the time or for the duration of a BDSM Scene

意思是， submissive, 對支配者（dominant),於一段／全部時間內
放棄某程度的權利／控制，而進行bdsm項目。

Bottom

A bottom is someone who negotiates and Consents to a specific activity or activities involving BDSM to be performed upon them by a Top.

意思是， bottom 是通過溝通及同意後， 容許top對其進行涉及bdsm的項目

Slave

In BDSM, a slave is a specific type ofsubmissive. The Master/slave relationship refers to the relationship between the individuals involved, and does not necessarily require any specific acts, sexual or otherwise, though sexual activity is usually an aspect of the relationship. The sexual aspect could be conventional, and not necessarily BDSM. A slave could also be a masochist or bottom, but this is not always the case.[2]

Bdsm內， slave是一特定的submissive, 主奴關係內不一定有特定項目， 雖然性活動會有， 但不是一個必需項目。可以有／但不一定是bdsm式性活動，而slave 亦可是masochist(受虐者）及bottom.（受方）

在我的圈子內，很多人， 會對自己是submissive (sub), 還是masochist(m) 有迷惑,

有人會認為名稱不重要，

對這點， 我常用一個比喻，

爸爸 是 男人， 就如 m是sub,

那是否全部男人都是爸爸?

又是否所有sub,都是m 呢?

在sub 身上， 我發現， 是因為本身submit(臣服）,所以願意接受master給予的各種痛楚， 多於喜愛痛楚本身。 如果master 不是一個喜歡施予痛楚者（Sadist,S), 對sub, 本身是沒有抵觸的。

所以， 要判定自己是sub, 還是m,
問問自己，

是對痛有偏好
還是對被控有偏好?

而slave, 奴， 本身就是一個空泛詞， 基本上概括了一切， 對於一般對bdsm不太了解，或 對自己不了解的，都會覺得自己歸類為slave.

但在國外， slave 可分為sex 及household, 但大意都是， 被安排， 被支配與及被使用， 都可叫做slave.

Masochist, 中文叫受虐者， 意即通過受虐得到快感， bdsm圈內佔多數，但要留意， 受虐者並不一定是slave 或sub, 因為通過自虐， 亦可獲得快感。

Bottom 受方， 國內沒有介定，但多是歸納做， sub, 或m, 但這詞只限於bdsm項目， 對於日常生活調教， 就不在此列。

舉例說明， 外國會有Dominate要求submissive 去spank自己， 在此，

Dominate 就是 bottom
Submissive 就是 top
